Hellraiser: Revival is out: PC requirements and which GPUs run it

Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival launched yesterday, October 8, and it is already among Steam’s top sellers with 7,926 players in game right now. It is Saber Interactive’s first-person survival horror, it costs $39.99, and on Steam it is Windows only. If you are wondering whether your PC can handle a bargain with Pinhead, the short answer is that it does not ask for a new machine: an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 XT already meets the recommended spec.

The SSD is listed as a recommendation, not a requirement. Watch the OS line: Windows 10 needs to be on the 22H2 update or newer.

Which GPUs run it

We checked the requirements against the most common GPUs on Steam. canirun grades are measured against the recommended requirement and assume 16 GB of RAM:

• Meet the recommended spec: the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, RX 6600 XT and RX 7600 all grade B (Solid). From an RTX 4070 or RX 9070 XT up you get an A (Smooth), and the RTX 5080 is overkill.
• Clear the minimum, but tight: the GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, RTX 3050 and Arc B580 clear the minimum and grade C (Tight) against the recommended. It runs, but expect to lower settings.
• Below the minimum: the GTX 1060 6GB, GTX 1650 and RX 580 do not reach the official minimum.

If your card is in that last group, there is another way in: according to CGMagazine, Hellraiser: Revival is coming to GeForce NOW, so you can play it in the cloud without relying on your hardware.

What about the Steam Deck?

Valve has not rated it yet. Our estimate, based only on specs, gives it an F and puts it below the official minimum, so it is worth waiting for Valve’s review or real-world testing before buying it to play there. You can follow the details on the game’s Steam Deck page.
