Time To Wake Up, the psychological thriller from Eye Blink Twice where blinking changes your surroundings, launched today, October 12, on Steam and PlayStation 5. It comes with a 20% launch discount that runs until October 26: Steam lists it at €11.99 instead of €14.99. The good news for PC players is that it asks for very little: a GTX 1060 and 8 GB of RAM at minimum.

Time To Wake Up PC requirements

These are the official requirements from the Steam page:

MinimumRecommended
GPUNVIDIA GTX 1060”NVidia GTX 2060” (RTX 2060)
CPUIntel i5-9600K / AMD Ryzen 5Intel i7-9750H / AMD Ryzen 7
RAM8 GB8 GB
Storage13 GB13 GB
OSWindows 10 64-bitWindows 11 64-bit

Two details are worth knowing. Steam lists the recommended card as a “GTX 2060”, and canirun measures it as an RTX 2060 because it has the same benchmark score. RAM also stays the same from minimum to recommended, so 8 GB covers both. The game is Windows only: there is no Mac or Linux version on Steam.

Which graphics cards run it

We checked the requirements against the most common GPUs. Grades are measured against the recommended requirement and assume 16 GB of RAM:

  • GTX 1650 and RX 580: both fall below the minimum.
  • GTX 1060 6GB: clears the minimum but grades D (Struggles) against the recommended. It will launch, but it will work hard.
  • RTX 3050, GTX 1660 Super and Arc B580: clear the minimum and sit between minimum and recommended, with a C (Tight).
  • RTX 2060: meets the recommended and grades B (Solid). The RTX 3060, RX 6600 XT and RX 7600 get the same grade.
  • RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 4060: move up to A (Smooth), as do the RTX 3070 and RTX 4070.
  • RTX 5070, RTX 5080 and RX 9070 XT: the only cards on the list that grade S (Overkill).

What about the Steam Deck?

Valve has not verified it yet. Our spec-based estimate gives it an F: on paper, the Deck falls below the minimum. This is an estimate based on specs, not a real test. You can follow it on the game’s Steam Deck page.

Before you buy

  • Your demo save will not carry over. The studio warns that demo and full game save files are not compatible, so you start from scratch.
  • More languages are coming. It launches with English, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Dutch. Ukrainian, Russian and Polish come over the next couple of weeks, followed by French and German.
  • More consoles are on the way: Xbox Series X/S and Switch arrive in Q4 2026.
